Now that we're friends, let me introduce myself!  

I'm Jen, the color-loving, painter chick behind Light Shine Jewelry co.  I live and create right here, in the City of Champions (if you live under a rock, that's Pittsburgh, PA - I kid, but not really).

 I'm a painter and designer by trade but wanted to something more than painting on canvas and hanging art on walls.  I started experimenting with painting on clay, adding a little gold or silver leaf, and finishing off the pieces with resin. I posted a few photos of my work on social media, and wouldn't you know, they were a hit!  Light Shine was born!  

Actually, there is a little more to the story... before the experimenting even began, I knew that I wanted to create a purposeful and intentional 'product', so let's dig into the heart of the matter.

I launched this adventure/company to create wearable reminders of encouragement.  We all could use a little more love and positivity in our day, right?  I hope that when you look at a piece of our jewelry, you see its physical beauty, it's uniqueness, know that it was lovingly and individually handcrafted, and see how it shimmers and shines when it catches the light.  More so, I hope that you see all of that in yourself. When you're rocking your Light Shine, I hope you're reminded of how unique and beautiful you are and that you have a Light and to let that Shine!
